Canberra City News Reviews Dear Camilla,
Canberra CityNews has reviewed the final concert of the Dear Camilla, Australian tour, performed with violinist Patrick Galvin at the Wesley Music Centre on 23 January.
Reviewing for the paper, Alanna Maclean gave particular attention to Jolin Jiang's commissioned closing work, in which Hou left the piano to sing a Shanghai children's song — clear and undecorated, in the reviewer's words. She described the evening as an understated tribute that recalled the legacy of a great performer and teacher.
