The Wesley Lunchtime Concert Series welcomed the brilliant duo of Patrick Galvin (violin) and Jennifer Hou (piano) for A Glance at Romance — a program steeped in love, tenderness, and passion spanning two centuries of music. The recital featured the lyrical charm of Amy Beach, the Nordic beauty of Jean Sibelius, and the romantic elegance of Frédéric Chopin, alongside the dazzling virtuosity of Pablo Sarasate. The program concluded with a playful twist — Tangy, a food-inspired caprice by contemporary composer Korine Fujiwara — blending technical brilliance with a dash of humour.
